Making us safer every day

Nope, this won’t create any terrorists. So, instead of hating Saddam, they’ll hate America who brought these clowns to power. And let’s not pretend this isn’t really happening. Remember some months ago, when US Soldiers tried to intervene when they saw Iraqi’s being tortured and abused by Iraqi police, they were told to stand down? So, America is aware of this and allows it.

Freedom is on the march (Not applicable in Iraq, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and another other country with a dictator on the US Payroll)

Old Bush Friend, Chalabi to be charged

Why no outrage for the man loved by Neo-Cons, is a crook and very likely an Iranian spy? Here he is sitting amongs Congressmen, Senators, Supreme Court Justices, and most of the Executive Branch.

Magic Elections

It's been a while. Busy with Holidays and playing too much Halo2 online.

Immediately following an essay by a member of the faculty of Hoover Institution about how drug regulation/approval should be more of a market approach than a more cautious FDA…this on that bastion of Liberal media, NPR. Imagine my surprise that NPR would give 5 minutes of uninterrupted comment without rebuttal to such a Conservative voice, can you see the Conservative Media Cabal providing some lefty the same opportunity? Methinks not. But I digress,

So, after this essay, I heard General Abazaid say that the elections on Jan 30 will be the death of the insurgency. Can I ask, does anyone REALLY think that on Feb. 1, these guys will lay down their arms and go home and live peaceably? It’s not even realistic. After the election, the violence will go on, especially that directed at police and the newly elected officials. To claim this magic power of elections seems quite naive. Especially, when you see that the PM is saying it’s not safe enough to have elections in the first place.
