My hope is that the zealots keep pushing their agenda b/c they are eventually going to piss of the majority of Americans that BELIEVE in science and technology, and even though they believe in God and attend church they understand the place of religion in their lives. Of course, you can always justify torture by “protecting national interests and security”.
