In response to this pathetic Bushie propaganda,

I wrote this to the Oregonian:
Dear Editor,
I was wondering if David Reinhard has any duties other than his column in order to earn his big salary. I hope so, because he hasn’t had an independent thought in a couple of years. The Oregonian would be just as well served by printing transcripts of Scott McClellan’s press briefings or WH position papers as it is running Reinhard’s column. Recently, Reinhard told us that he is not paid by the Bush WH to promote their ideas. I should hope not, because the Oregonian is paying him to do that. Accepting Administration money would be getting paid twice for the same work. Today’s column regarding Assisted Suicide was a truly pathetic attempt by someone who claims to be a Conservative abandoning principle in order to support the Bushie cause. Reinhard is a Bushie cheerleader, he’s not a Conservative. A Conservative would not have attempted such a feeble abandonment of State’s Right’s, but would have asked why are there “Federally” controlled substances in the first place. As he abandons Conservativism to be a good soldier in Karl Rove’s army, he gives NO attention to the fact the this is the will of the people of Oregon, and his effort to blame part of “Ashcroft vs. the People of Oregon” on Bill Clinton was another classic Bush tactic.
For the sake of business effeciency, you should replace Reinhard’s column with the daily talking points from the White House…no one will be able to tell the difference.
