Reading

Finished up my second Tom Friedman book the other day. Had read "Lexus and the Olive Tree" a month or so ago and I just finished “Longitudes and Attitudes”. While I find Friedman’s rationalizations for invading Iraq, pretty lame, especially in hindsight, it was OK. “Lexus” was probably better. One thing I learned is that I HATE buying books that are simply reprints of columns. I know being a columnist is difficult, but charging me full price for a book for work you’ve already done seems like a rip off to me. A friend recommended “Beirut to Jerusalem” , give that a shot eventually.

Currently reading "The Professor and and the Madman". Which is a pretty quick pager turner. Needed to take a little break from the seriousness of my recent readings.
